The Project
DCL played a pivotal role in BAM Construction’s £18 million redevelopment of EMA’s terminal, flawlessly delivering design and installation services. The project included the creation of new security and queuing areas, an expanded departure lounge, and significant retail upgrades, all while ensuring uninterrupted airport operations.
DCL’s scope involved comprehensive coordination and design of bespoke hallos, baffles, and rafts, as well as the bespoke entrance portal. Additionally, BG partitions and Fermacell linings were expertly installed throughout the project.
The entire refurbishment was successfully completed on schedule within a phased work pattern spanning approximately 50 weeks, demonstrating DCL’s commitment to excellence and operational continuity.
