The Project

A new build construction of a 66-bedroom next-generation care home. The home features ground-floor rooms with direct access on to private patios, while other rooms lead on to attractive terraces to support resident wellbeing. communal areas include a library, a café, a state-of-the-art cinema room, a garden room and a therapy and wellness room.

DCL was selected to carry out the drylining, ceilings, plastering, SFS and coving works at Onley care home, following five previously completed care homes with Deeley Group. DCL worked closely with Deeley construction and British Gypsum to ensure all the latest Building Safety Act guidance was captured in Pre-Construction and the details and design was updated, ensuring our works met the requirements for all stake holders involved in the project.

The luxury 66 bed care home for Kingsley health care group was completed on time and on budget.

Following this DCL was rewarded with three further care home projects totalling 189 beds from our longest standing client Deeley.
